I recently went to a Travel Party with friends, grudgingly and was not impressed at all. As a matter of fact I was ready to go when I got their!!! Then the meeting started and something happening… The speaker said that 7 trillion dollars is expected to be spent on travel this year alone and it is expected to double in 6 ½ years. Wow, I am a numbers man and to hear statistic like blew my mind… The ideal that I could make a passive residual income while I was sleeping sparked my curiosity. I listen very intently and tried to learn as much as possible. Next I went to the Internet and looked up Network Marketing. There was an article written by John Venezia, the title “Top ten ways to choose a great Networking Marketing Opportunity”. I was surprised that the article was very clear and concise what to look for.
1. Has the company been around for at least 5 years?
2. Is the company well capitalized?
3. Does the company offer products or services that are unique?
4. Is there a genuine need for the product or service?
5. Is the product or service trendy or a fad?
6. Can you generate immediate income?
7. Does the marketing system take full advantage of technology?
8. Is the person who is introducing you to the opportunity committed to your success?
9. Is there a way to build your business part-time without losing your full time income?
10.Will you have FUN?
The grin on my face was obvious, why you ask? YTB satisfied all 10 questions with a yes. I never knew that travel is the largest industry in the world. Although when I think about it Airlines, Hotels, Rental Cars and Cruise lines are offering more opportunity to travel. I still asked myself these questions that also helped me to decided as well, have I ever been on a plane that that was empty The answer was always no. So now I wanted to devise a plan that would not only help me but would help others like me to gain success from our collaboration.
I am sure that you have heard of Network Marketing before, the biggest problem with most of these companies is that once you bought in you were on your own. The method to my madness is to share information with others on how to prospect and what to say. Then in turn they can say what worked for them and what did not. In essence we become a chain. One link is weak but the more links that you add helps fortify those links making it one bond of unity!
I have been in sales for 8 years and I sold cars 3 years home improvement for over a year and the mortgage business for 4 years. As a mortgage loan officer I closed over 70 loans in 2006. I learned to develop a plan and learned prospecting techniques that allowed me to obtain a level of success. 100% commission is really just what it sounds like and if you don’t sell you don’t eat. That is not my problem; my problem was if I wanted to take a day or a week off if I would not get paid for that time. I wanted an opportunity to create an unlimited income; better yet I wanted to make money not only from my efforts but the efforts of others! That means that I had to either own a big company of create my own.
I also include information about YTB, information gives general information and if you want to know more please feel free to give me a call or email me with questions comments or concerns. I have several topics that I plan on discussing, prospecting is one that everyone always has a problem with and that is my next subject. When I wrote “The Loan Originators Search for Refinance and Purchase leads”, I never knew that it could be so easily applied to this market.
