What are we fighting for? The American Flag

March 31, 2008 · Leave a Comment

This image of the flag and the soliders reminds me of 9/11 and how the United States bonded together when the World Trade Center crumbed to the ground. Bush made a cry to the people that we were not going to allow anyone to come in our house and let them get away with it, so we went to war. Five years later we are still at war, plus we are overwhelmed with high fuel prices, unbelievable food cost and rampid forclosure all across the country. The economy is on the edge of a depression, and now comes the time that we have to make a choice for a new president. Eight years of Republicans in office and they have ramsacked the american economy. The Democrats seem to have a answer to our question, its a six letter word that everyone knows, its called a CHANGE. To be honest maybe a change is what we need, for I am tired of paying over $3.25 for a gallon of gas. You know the month we went to war gas was $1.42 a gallon. You know I can say Bush left a good road map for others to follow, if they want to screw up a country just follow his steps!

Sean Levert dead at 39

March 31, 2008 · Leave a Comment

The 39 year old R&B singer died at the Lutheran Hospital from natural causes last night. He was transported to the hospital from the Cuyahoga County Jail. He was being held there on charges of non child support payments. The Sean Levert death comes as a big surprise considering his age. The crazy thing is that his brother Gerald Levert died in in 2006 at the age of 40. There is not any evidence of foul play involved considering both of them died at such a young age. Shawn levert and Gerald Levert formed the band “LeVert” back in 1984.
Sean Levert had been sentenced to 22-months in prison for not paying child support. Sean owes $85,427.68 in back support for his three children – ages 11, 15 and 17.
I don’t agree with jail time for non-child support payments. With All the crime in the United States how many cells a year do we waste on dead beat dads? I wonder is it really worth locking a man or woman up for for a year or two as a form of puishment? It offers no retributuion to the child and what does the state gain from the incarceration, a check? Community service, house arrest should be consideration first making arrest the final phase.

Wow, unbelievable, every inch of this woman body is covered in tattoos. I am more amazed that she is a grand mother. I wonder if she has the world records! You know for her age her body is not bad

Memphis won again

March 29, 2008 · Leave a Comment

The Memphis Tigers won again. Who are these guys? They are ranked number #1 in their bracket and their record (36-1) not bad. The sports world continue to predict that one team will beat the tigers. Although the naysayers have not seen it yet, the anticiapation is building with each game. Don’t forget this is the third straight year Calipari’s team has made it this far The two previous trips ended in the regional finals. Even though they held the longest winning streak 21 straight, means nothing. The rumors that Memphis would be the first number 1 seat to be eliminated has not happened and and if you don’t believe me ask UT- Arlington, Mississippi St or Michigan St, each team lost at the hands of the Tigers.
The overwheming fact may have to be acknowledged that Memphis is not only a good team but a force to be recognized. Memphis coach John Calipari said. “That everyone believes that we were going to get outplayed, outcoached, outskilled, outhustled, out-this, out-that, and we can’t shoot free throws.” Although whenever the buzzer sounds and Memphis wins, a new team is already picked to beat the Tigers.
Now comes Texas, you know if Memphis beats them they are in the Final Four, will they be considered good then?
